Matthew Cossolotto at Study Abroad Alumni International has hit on an idea to fuse two passions of college students — social media and study abroad. The result is the just-launched SAAI social networking site, which allows study abroad students, faculty and staff to join the community, post profiles and photos, communicate and create subgroups. In essence, it’s a Facebook for international education. And it’s free.
“This is where the building of a community of global citizens begins,” Cossolotto says.
